This cross-disciplinary research network promotes methodical analytical work with empirical applications in the broader area of financial analysis. The inputs of research expertise from the disciplines of Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Operations Management and Econometrics enable MEAFA to achieve its primary goals, namely to (i) develop a dynamic research infrastructure within the Faculty of Economics and Business for investigating issues of analytical correctness, precision and reliability of estimates in applied financial analysis, and to (ii) design and deliver high quality cross-disciplinary research training with a quantitative focus.
